Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 February 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using BriefKit ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Use of the Service
You must use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. You may not: (a) resell or sublicense the Service without authorisation, (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other accounts, (c) use the Service to generate illegal, harmful or infringing content, or (d) abuse or overload our infrastructure. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
3. Account and content
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You retain ownership of the content you create (e.g. briefs, brand kits). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content as necessary to provide the Service.
4. Payment and subscription
Paid plans are billed in advance (monthly or annually as selected). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in our refund policy (e.g. 7-day guarantee if offered). You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change prices with reasonable notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
5. Intellectual property
BriefKit, our branding, and the technology behind the Service are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer our product except as permitted by law.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. AI-generated content (e.g. brief text) is for assistance only; you are responsible for reviewing and using it appropriately.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time; we will post the new version and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance. For questions: legal@briefkit.to
